Pangu releases Ver. 1.2.1 with Cydia 1.1.16 bundled. Cydia Installer 1.1.16 Change Log Inside.


Pangu releases v. 1.2.1 for Pangu tool for Windows with Cydia 1.1.16 bundled.  The updated Cydia installer fixes the issue where users were getting stuck at booting after back up restores, iOS 8 multitasking timeouts, App store redirects and more!

For those already jailbroken can just update the cydia installer by heading over to changes tab and installing the latest update. For those who are still not jailbroken, version 1.2.1 of Pangu tool comes bundled with the updated Cydia 1.1.16.

Pangu for Mac coming in "couple of days", says PanguTeam

According to Pangu Team, Pangu for Mac will be coming in the next couple of days. This means, users who still haven’t jailbroken their iPhones or iPads because they were waiting for Mac version, just need to wait for 48 more hours.

Pangu Windows Tool Updated to Version 1.2! Download now!


Pangu Team just updated their Windows tool to Version 1.2. With Version 1.2 comes following changes and improvements :

1.2.0(2014.11.04)
 1. Fix the issue that launchd may drain cpu on 32bit devices
 2. Fix Safari reloading bug and occasionally crash problem.
 3. Optimize jailbreak process. 
 4. Restore function now support iPad Air2/iPad Mini3

Download Pangu version 1.2 from the downloads page. If you are already Jailbroken, than just head over to Cydia and you will see a cydia installer update under changes tab.

iOS 8.1.1 kills the Pangu Jailbreak.

iOS 8.1.1 beta 1 was seeded to developers couple of days ago and now we are being told that this particular update kills the jailbreak or in more technical terms, patches the exploits that were being used for the Pangu jailbreak.

Apple seeds first iOS 8.1.1 beta to developers


Apple just seeded first iOS 8.1.1 beta to developers. The beta comes 2 weeks after the official launch of iOS 8.1. Those who are jailbroken on iOS 8.1 should stay away from this until its clear that this won't mess with Pangu.

Usually .1 updates such as this one has bug fixes and essentially for those using older device, such as iPhone 4s and iPad 2, will find their devices running a bit more smoothly after this update.

Additionally, Apple released a new beta software for Apple TV.

Pangu 0.4 untethered update now available. Fixes Safari Bug.


As reported earlier today, Pangu has just released the 0.4 untethered update which will essentially fix Safari from crashing while being used. This issue was primarily seen on 32 bit devices, that includes, iPad Mini, iPad 3/4 and iPhone 4s/5.

Even if you are on a 64 bit device, we still recommend you to update as its always great to be on the latest firmware.
